Your child will learn how to improve their writing by crafting an adventure story and detailed setting description, inspired by pictures and music. The course will improve their imaginitive vocabulary, grammar and punctuation skills and use of literary devices. Your child’s work will be marked by an experienced and specialist English teacher, enabling them to refine their writing, to maximise their success in entrance exams.

Time: 9:15am daily

Dates: Thursday 13, Friday 14 and Monday 17 April 2023 (3 lessons total)

Duration: 1 hour per lesson

Class size: 6 students maximum

You will need access to Google Drive, a pencil, pen and coloured pen for editing, plus paper.

Any resources provided by the tutor will be sent in advance.

Homework: Children may be asked to complete some tasks before each lesson.
